This spring we will again hit the road, continuing a time-honored tradition of hands-on training seminars! Our partners at MAFSI, who sponsor & coordinate these events, are putting the finishing touches on the planning for this fall’s schedule. Training will consist of a basic AutoQuotes class in the morning and a more advanced class in the afternoon.

A basic introduction to AutoQuotes, the foodservice equipment & supplies industry’s most complete database, catalog, & quotation system. This informative morning will include:

• Introduction/Overview of AutoQuotes version 6
• Installing AutoQuotes
• Project (quote) defaults
• Manufacturer discounts
• Your company user settings
• Using/searching the AutoQuotes Catalog
• Projects – creating, updating, & maintaining
• Quotes – emailing, faxing, & printing
• Adding customers’ contacts (address book) – searching, editing, creating entries
• Review of spreadsheet hotkeys

Advanced AutoQuotes Version 6 – 1:00 PM – 4:30PM
Build on the foundations of the Basic AutoQuotes session while we take it to the next level. This class will examine the features and functionality within AutoQuotes that truly enrich and heighten the AutoQuotes experience. An interactive Q&A period will be included. The afternoon session will include these program features:

• Channel partners working together using AutoQuotes
• Review reports – spreadsheets, cutsheet books, specifications, flyers, etc.
• LMI freight calculator
• Copying & Pasting – (items and or projects)
• Adding custom items
• Utilities
• Export & import features – (i.e. –Excel export, KCL import , accounting system export)
• Advanced spreadsheet features – match by example, shopping cart
• Advanced user functionality – deviated pricing, discount matrix pricing
• Multi-project reports
• Purchase orders
• Importing Legacy projects & data
